A Funeral Service will be held 11:00am Saturday, February 12, 2022 at Hogan-Bremer-Moore Colonial Chapel, 126 3rd St NE, Mason City, IA, with Mark Doebel officiating. Burial will be held in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:00am to 11:00am on Saturday, February, 12, 2022 at Hogan-Bremer-Moore Colonial Chapel. Sean was born on March 15, 1980, the son of Jeff and Melinda (Ficken) Bass of Mason City, IA. He was a graduate of Maple River High School’s Class of 1998. Throughout Sean’s life he worked several jobs, his favorite was being a carpet installer. When Sean wasn’t working he could be found drawing, using his 3D printer, building model cars, and or tinkering with motorcycles or gaming systems. Recently, Sean had built his own arcade system that could play just about any old arcade game. He also liked drinking Mountain Dew more than the average person. Friends and family will remember Sean for being a strong willed and compassionate person. Those left to cherish memories of Sean are his father; Jeff (Cyndie) Bass; siblings, Chris Bass and Amber Boyden; grandma, Nancy Bailey; girlfriend, Heidi Bogle; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Sean is preceded in death by his mother, Melinda Ficken; both paternal grandparents; his mother’s father; Uncle, Eldon Bass Jr.; and Aunt, Michelle Morgan.
