Legend Jamesyn Levi Hutzell

February 18, 2022 - April 1, 2022

Legend Jamesyn Levi Hutzell, infant son of Randi Axelsen and Scott Hutzell, passed away Friday, April 1, 2022. Legend was born on February 18, 2022 at MercyOne Medical Center in Mason City. He was welcomed into this world by his parents and siblings, Journee, Ryker, and Isaiah. Legend was a happy baby who looked just like his daddy and loved to be held by his mom; he never wanted her to be too far from him. He loved to lay on her chest and fall asleep to her heartbeat. His siblings loved to help care for him and were eager to spend time holding him and helping feed him. They loved him so much that sometimes they even fought over who got to hold him next. Legend was just beginning to smile and show his personality. He had his dad’s smile and hardly ever cried. He will be forever missed and loved, and always in our hearts. Legend was named after Koty James Conroy and James Hutzell, as well as Randi’s best friend, Levi Markle. Those grateful in sharing in his life are his parents, Randi Axelsen (Scottie), Swaledale, and Scott Hutzell (Brittney), Nevada; his siblings, Journee, Ryker, and Isaiah; grandparents, Tracy Ingham, Joe Ingham, Rick Axelsen, and Linda and Marv Lancaster; as well as his aunts, uncles, cousins; extended family and friends including Randi’s friends, Shannon Wurtzel, Melissa Harper, Jeannie Tedder, and Brittany Cartmill, and Scott’s friends, Gary Freel and Erick Hill and their families. Legend is joined in Heaven by his grandpa, Jim Hutzell; great grandparents, Donna-Bell Axelsen, Chris Axelsen, Ruth Hutzell and June Hauser; great uncles, John Axelsen and Jim Conroy; and many aunts and uncles on his Hutzell side; as well as his cousins, Koty Conroy and Elliot Burgos; and Randi’s best friend, Levi Markle. We will gather on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at Hogan Bremer Moore Colonial Chapel, 126 3rd St NE, Mason City, to celebrate Legend’s life at 10:00 am. For those unable to attend, a livestream of his service will be available through the Hogan Bremer Moore Colonial Chapel Facebook page. Visitation will be held Friday evening, April 8th, from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Hogan Bremer Moore Colonial Chapel.
